Latest stand-out Venue revamp at Kangaroo Pt, Brisbane & greenery flows...

fantastic inner-city water-front venue has just had a stand-out renovation, using greenery extensively. Wonderfully set on riverbanks at Kangaroo Pt, Brisbane, the manicured external gardens flow inside with the help of quality artificial plants

-in big outdoor/indoor pavilion, the large bare canopy was too high, not a conducive human scale, we added large hanging baskets make for a  cosier, comfortable feel

-the hard walls where pavilion becomes building have been softened by trailing green-curtains

-elsewhere a bare concrete arbour has been turned into a 'selfie shot' location by adding a green-wall & timber seat

-inside, again hard bulkheads have had assorted greenery added to soften & continue green theme internally

-adding greenery inside was a challenge, with open partitions & glass-walls as well as not wanting to lose floor space? There was however a large irregular shaped ceiling & rather than just add more hanging-baskets, we used trailing vines, climbing & twisting 'randomly' to break-up bare spaces.

The end result is a vibrant 'refreshed' Venue where green gardens sweep inside pavilion for a comfortable semi alfresco dining experience, whilst at night inside becomes a cool place to be. Happy Patrons from breakfast to the wee hours means money well invested by a clever Management...
