Suddenly Greenery is back in style!
We have noticed a growing demand for assorted Greenery, particularly in commercial projects.
Architects, designers, stylists & developers are all calling for green-walls, planter-boxes & feature planters to be included in their projects.
This week we had 2 commercial fit-outs in Brisbane CBD, both using trailing green Ivy to cover ceilings, ledges, voids & planters.
Firstly at a trendy bar/cafe in the Fortitude Valley entertainment precinct. Architects wanted climbing, sprawling, naturally-random Ivy 'growing' on a long ceiling feature. Using trailing Ivy bushes & garlands, the effect was immediately refreshing & natural, softening hard edges & angles with cool greens.
Secondly was at Suncorp's H/O in CBD, the entrance to their new 'innovation center' showpiece required softening with greenery. We used Ivy again to take out hard edges & hide overhead air-con ducts etc.
We created a 'fringe' of random greenery with longer vines at ends to frame the entrance. Potted Fiddle-Leaf Ficus & Rubber Plants on floor added to the 'green' effect.
The result was a stunning framed entrance effect, soft, natural, inviting & now...very modern.
