adding artificials to enhance "live" green-walls- 24/7 wow!

Client was a very upmarket CBD landmark establishment. It has a elegant foyer with its centerpiece being a beautifully shaped reception & 'live' green-wall background. Initial plantings of orchids in the wall, while spectacular, proved to be short lived, with dying flowers constantly requiring maintenance in this high traffic 24-hour space. GM was under pressure to fix problem..._x005F

-Client approached us for ideas & after seeing samples & costings asked us to install our artificial orchids

-we 'planted' the orchids [flower stems only] carefully into soil around existing 'live' orchid plants. We tied artificial orchid stems to stakes [as per_x005F 'live' orchids], at different lengths & angles to achieve a natural mix.

-'live' orchid plants will continue to grow & flower, only adding to the natural display

-the end result is a vibrant & stunning partnership of both live & artificials with all-year-round colour & appeal. [& a very happy GM!]
